One step at a time.

Currently just resumed school and am struggling to settle back in. I HAVE been practicing painting during these gaps between the recent uploads, but the recent pieces do not sit right with me - do not reach even my own standards, so they will not be uploaded. I will try to resume regular updates again, possibly with a more reasonable deadline for myself, perhaps weekly, but this is my final year, so i can keep no promises to anyone who looks at this.

This blog is created in a way as a design journal as i slowly learn and get better at it. I’ll try to update it as i go along, hopefully with some order. It’s nothing amazing as i’m still a student, but i wish to be one day become a concept artist of sorts, and as it’s likely i cannot afford to attend a school like FZD due to the 30k-ish cost for a year’s diploma, i’m trying to replace the lack of a school guiding me, with simple hard work.

I don’t think i’ll be reblogging anything on this page because i have other tumblrs i use to reblog references and inspirational material, so, yeah.

I hope you enjoy what i have to share, even if it isn’t much.

I’m writing this about a week or so after my 2nd year of school, and when this holiday ends, i’ll be a final/3rd year in my course.

During this holiday i’ll be uploading a mix of works, primarily and hopefully traditional fundamental practices with a bit of painting and sketching here and there. When the holiday ENDS, i will be updating less frequently and likely focusing more on schoolwork.
